Hose reducers connect two hoses or push-fit connections with different outside diameters. They can be used within the same measurement system or as a transition between metric and imperial measurements when the two sides of the product are designed for it.

Check the dimensions on both sides

Read the sizes in the product name from side to side, and check the external diameter of the hoses. A reducer changes the connection size itself; it does not make a hose with the wrong internal diameter suitable for a specific flow or pressure.

Check material, temperature, working pressure, and suitability for liquid or CO₂ as well. Cut the hoses straight and push them all the way into the push-fit connections.
